Inside service sales engineer
Is processing, selecting and selling service business with the world leader in advanced heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems something that appeals to you? As an inside service sales engineer, your responsibilities include selling parts, advising on the requested parts and creating an order with the factory or supplier. More complex customer requests are worked out in more detail, resulting in a convincing quotation. You are also responsible for handling return orders. Furthermore, you issue quotations for repairs and service contracts, collect the necessary information for this internally or from suppliers, calculate the prices for this and take care of the follow-up. As an inside service sales engineer you offer important support to your colleagues in the field sales.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
- You will handle requests from (potential) customers regarding Carrier CIAT Service activities, negotiate price if necessary, prepare quotes and ensure follow-up.
- You will act as client relationship manager; provide telephone support both in technical and administrative matters.
- You will keep abreast of technical developments by attending training courses and reading internal documentation or consulting with the relevant Product Manager.
- You will coordinate customer questions and issues with internal managers and follow up.
- You will actively contribute to the annual contract renewal process.
Who are we looking for?
- You have completed an MBO education in the commercial or technical field.
- You preferably have additional training in HVAC (air conditioning, air handling).
- You have knowledge of IT systems (MS-Office).
- You have communication skills (both oral and written), a consultative attitude and a structured approach to work.
